About Me:

I am a fine art photographer based in the South-West (UK).

Broadly speaking, my work explores the parallel concepts/themes of 'the surreal' and 'the everyday', which when taken out of context are often one-and-the-same.

When I first began studying photography, I learned on 35mm film cameras and processed everything myself. I became slightly addicted to this method of working, and much of my work is still produced by hand in the darkroom.

I love to be outdoors, so I often try to use as little equipment as possible (or find someone with a van!). This allows for a very relaxed shoot, so much so that even if someone is painted green and dressed as an alien it feels completely normal.

However, even when working with strange costumes and characters, I am somewhat hesitant to call myself a surrealist; weird and wonderful is just my version of normal!
